The innovative ideas article titled “The Utility of Telegram® in Online Problem Based Learning during COVID 19 Pandemic” published in Education in the Health Professions, on page 85, Issue 2, Volume 3, 2020,[1] is being retracted because a conflict of interest was observed. The data in the manuscript did not correctly represent the findings of PBL system that is in place within the institution. The permission from the concerned department was not obtained before manuscript submission. It was brought to the attention of the journal's editorial board, by the author. Thus, the journal's editorial office has decided to retract the article.

Plagiarism, fabrication, unethical or redundant publication violates the editorial policy Education in the Health Professions, which follows best practice guidelines given by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) and Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) mentioned on the Information for Authors and as codified in the signed statements made by the authors regarding the copyright of their work.

This article has been retracted on request of the Authors and Editor-in-Chief of the journal.
